Supported Regions
Eligibility depends on applicable law, actual usage locations, and the rules of the relevant model provider.

01How service eligibility is determined
ThinkAPI provides a service only where supplying and using it is lawful, complies with applicable sanctions and export controls, and meets the relevant upstream provider’s eligibility requirements. Availability is the intersection of those conditions and the services ThinkAPI actually offers.
Website access, account creation, successful payment, or technical connectivity does not by itself establish eligibility for a model. Supported locations and entity requirements may differ by model. If you use multiple providers, you must meet each provider’s requirements separately.
02Check model availability by location
For Claude models, consult the API section of Anthropic’s supported-regions page. For GPT models, consult OpenAI’s API supported-countries page. The official sources below are maintained by the providers; lists, regional exceptions, and entity requirements may change and should be checked before starting and during continued use.
If an actual usage location is outside the relevant model’s supported area, or your organization and its ownership or control do not meet provider requirements, do not access that model through ThinkAPI. Eligibility assessment may extend beyond the account’s registration country or server location.
03Sanctions and export controls
Do not provide services to restricted people, entities, locations, or end uses where applicable law prohibits doing so. Requirements may depend on designated-party lists, ownership relationships, the particular transaction, and licensing conditions, rather than a country name alone.
The United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) provides official sources for checking US sanctions programs and lists; these are not a complete ThinkAPI eligibility list. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility or restrict service when legally required.
04Location changes and evasion
Provide accurate information relevant to eligibility checks and ensure actual users, deployment locations, and business uses meet the requirements. Recheck model availability after travel, server migration, or a change in organizational control.
Do not use proxies, false addresses, borrowed identities, or third-party accounts to conceal an actual location or evade restrictions. If a location, entity, or use is uncertain, contact support before funding your account or making requests.
05Service regions and data-processing locations
Availability in a region does not mean requests, logs, or other data are processed or stored only there. Relevant providers may process requests across borders. If your use requires a fixed processing location, a specific retention period, or an additional data-processing agreement, confirm support with us before submitting data.
Changes in law or provider regional policies may require a service to be suspended or modified. Accounts and outstanding amounts are handled under the Terms of Service. This page does not promise permanent availability in any location.
